6 In-flight Skin-Care Must-Haves

Ahhhh, traveling by plane is probably the single best invention ever… says a wanderlust like me. But that cabin air is no bueno to anyone’s skin especially on those long flights! Thank goodness for skin care that actually works, affordable, and hardly takes any room in your carry-on! Here are some of my skincare carry-on essentials and I never fly without them.

1. Collapsible Water Bottle 2. Hand Cream 3. Lip Balm 4. Facial Mist 5. Facial Lotion 6. Eye De-Puffer

Facial Mist

I use this facial mist every 1-2 hours when I’m flying. It keeps my skin moisturized and refreshed! I love that it has a gentle , nice scent and it absorbs in my skin quickly.

Hand Cream

Long-haul flight means lots of trips to the lavatory which means washing your hands quite frequently which can be really drying to your hands and add the cabin air to that and you got a double whammy! This hand cream is soothing, feels good, and smells wonderful. It doesn’t leave my hands greasy at all and the ingredients are not harmful. It truly is the best hand cream in my experience and I’ve tried a lot!

Reusable Water Bottle

Ok, the bottle isn’t for the skin but the water is. This water bottle is collapsible, portable, durable, and not to mention less carbon foot print. As soon as I clear security, I look for a water fountain and fill this up and hydrate every 1-2 hours. You may not be sweating during the flight but that cabin air sure does a number on your skin making it dry. Combat that by hydrating often.

Eye Depuffer

If you think cabin air is not skin-friendly, it’s even worse for the delicate area around your eyes! Enter this workhorse of a cream/serum. It has caffeine and antioxidants to hydrate, brighten puffy eyes and helps combat dark circles. That’s the trifecta for any eye cream for me! I use this on a regular basis, not just when I’m traveling!

Lip Balm

Don’t be surprised if this jar isn’t the regular size you’re used to seeing growing up. It’s small but mighty! Perfect to throw in your carry-on as it does not take up any space at all. I apply this lip balm several times during a flight. Nobody wants dry, chapped lips when sightseeing! This does wonders leaving your lips smooth and soft with regular use. My fave scent is Creme Brûlée.

Face Lotion/ Cream

I’m hooked on this face lotion and not just when traveling but on a daily basis! It’s lightweight, hydrating and leaves your skin perfectly moisturized. A little goes a long ways and I apply it to my neck as well. The best part is, it’s made with clean ingredients!

Hope this is helpful and enjoy your travels!

Thank you for the must have travel list of items I would never have thought of bringing on a fight.
I tend to have oily skin in the Summer, does the Beauty Counter facial lotion work for my skin type?
Also what other Beauty Counter products you would recommend for a morning and nighttime routine?

I love it! Yes! I always struggle with puffy eyes. I’m definitely going to check out the Clinique.
