Today’s blog post is a little special because I will be sharing about our family’s favorite spot to hang out: our backyard! My sweet followers on Instagram love when I share bits and pieces of our home especially our backyard. This inspired me to write this post so you can all shop our backyard decor in one place and hopefully find some inspiration in case you are in the process of refreshing your backyard space or are planning on building a pool or outdoor fireplace in the near future. We had the pool, outdoor fireplace, and pavilion built just a few months after we moved in. As you all know, we live in Houston so our back porch gets used pretty much all year round! It truly is our private oasis and many birthdays and gatherings with family and friends have been celebrated here over the years. This post contains affiliate links. All opinions are my own.
Our 5-piece patio furniture has been one of my best-selling items since I started blogging. It is also one of my favorite backyard purchases. A few of my friends have also gotten it since I’m constantly sharing it on my Facebook stories and they have really been happy with it as I have. First off, it is under $1000 and you get a beautiful, great quality 5-piece set: 1 couch, 2 swivel chairs, 2 nesting tables and patio covers. I have had them for nearly 2 years now and the color has not changed much(I use the patio covers that come with it when we are out of town for an extended time and in wintertime). It goes in and out of stock but they do restocks often so keep checking. I also found a similar backyard furniture here and here. Our outdoor rug is also a popular item and comes in 4 sizes and ours is the 7×10. They do restocks as well but you can also check this similar outdoor rug. I love the style and the minimalist look of our pool loungers. If you decide to purchase it, it will ask you if you need professional installation and the answer is no! There’s really hardly any assemble at all. You just fill up the lounger with pool water then use the stopper that it comes with and it’s ready for use. Warning: if you want to start enjoying it right at the beginning of summer, make your order a several weeks ahead of pool season as delivery can get very slow. The in-pool side table between the loungers can also be an ice storage. Both come in a variety of colors. Can you believe that our chandelier is from Amazon?! It’s affordable and has held up well over the years. Our outdoor dining furniture has sold out but I am linking a similar set here and here. Our under-the-counter ice maker in the outdoor kitchen area has gotten so much use over the years. We use it everyday for all of our reusable water bottles, after-school ball practice and games, parties, etc. It has been worth getting it installed when we were building our pool.
