As summer comes to a close my mind is already drifting to all the layering pieces I could wear for fall! Shacket, aka ‘shirt jacket’, is one of those trends that started showing up in 2020 and it is proving to be stronger this coming fall. They have so many more varieties this season from cropped shackets to longer lengths and I am linking several options below. This shacket is my second one and I love how versatile and affordable it is. I have it in size small and to be honest I could have used an XS since it is already oversized. It is a corduroy style with frayed hem and pockets on each side(great bonus to have). It comes in plus size and you can find it here. Towards the end of this post, you can also see me styling the other shacket that I own and love.
Shackets I am Loving
Graphic Tee & Spanx Leggings
This has got to be my go-to outfit because it looks put together without exerting too much effort. If you are not into Spanx Faux Leather Leggings, black leggings would do and this pair is one of my favorites. I recently purchased this pair of Golden Goose sneakers and I love them! They are a splurge but they are worth it in my opinion. Fits true-to-size and you can wear them with jeans, skirts, dresses, jean shorts! I am also linking a more affordable option of white sneakers here.
Maxi/Midi Dress & White Sneakers
I love pairing my Golden Goose Sneakers with everything especially with a dress. You can layer a shacket over a dress as shown in this pic or tie it around your waist.
Jeans & Chelsea Boots
Quite possibly one of my my favorite looks for fall is this combo of jeans and Chelsea or lug boots and a shacket to layer it. You can also add a felt fedora hat like this and your outfit instantly looks cooler.
All Black Outfit
What is it about an all-black-outfit that just screams CHIC?!! Pair it with animal print high heels to elevate the look and this outfit is also appropriate from work to happy hour cocktail.
Hat
Top off your fall outfit with a fedora hat to complete the look. I have this one in two colors and love the grosgrain ribbon detail. An affordable option with great reviews is also linked here. This shacket is the other one that I own and love the plaid print! This is more on the heavier side and I sized up to a medium so I can use thicker sweaters underneath when weather gets colder.
